PointerMyth is a short journey through a virtual realm, a realm where the mind of its creator meets with the mind of the viewer. This realm is a place where somewhat silly video games and commercial graphics meet evocative dreams and mythology.
PointerMyth is not so much a story, but rather an immersive experience of vision and sound. The images are humorous and beautiful by turns, inducing a playfully poetic experience of things strange and familiar.
Our world provides more images than it knows what to do with. While the meanings of the different kinds of images are difficult to disentangle, they are nonetheless alive. The emoji man of PointerMyth looks to the classical statue of Athena, and Athena looks back at him. The dream that we all share is somewhere in the vastness between and around them.
